Carbonate hardness in drinking water is reduced by using PURITY C Quell ST filter cartridges, which helps to avoid scale buildup in downstream water treatment and distribution equipment.

According to the by-pass setting, calcium, magnesium, and metal ions may be selectively removed from drinking water as the water flows through the system. Additionally, the filter material lowers the amount of chemicals that affect smell and taste, such as chlorine residues, in both the filtrate and the by-pass water, in addition to cloudiness and organic contaminants.

Coffee and espresso machines, hot and cold beverage vending machines, as well as combi ovens and conventional ovens, are examples of typical applications for PURITY C Quell ST.
