The Apex Pressure Limiting Valve or Pressure Reduction Valve, a premium quality product, boasts an impressive suite of features that make it perfect for high-pressure applications rated above 350kpa. This versatile valve finds a wide range of applications in domestic, commercial, and mobile settings where it safeguards crucial downstream components, such as Water Filters, Drink Dispensers, Ice Makers, Coffee Machines, Reverse Osmosis machines, Mobile homes, and Caravans from potential water damage due to high pressure.

With its integral dual check valves, the Apex Pressure Limiting Valve effectively prevents backflow. The FiltaMate technology incorporated in the valve resists water hammer and ensures the pressure to the filters is regulated, thus preventing potential costly water damage. The valve comes supplied with a fixing clip and screw, making installation a breeze.

Technical aspects of this valve are impressive as well. The outlet is a 1/4"John Guest pushfit connection. It measures 98mm in length and is equipped with a dual check valve. The flow rate is 14 lpm at 700kpa/ 100psi inlet pressure. The pressure ratio stands at 10:1, meaning for every 10 kPa [1.5psi] increase in inlet pressure above 1000 kPa [150psi], the outlet pressure will increase by 1 kPa [0.145psi]. It can handle a maximum inlet pressure of 1600 kPa [230psi]. The valve operates efficiently between temperatures 1deg C to 40deg C. It complies with NZS 4608:1992 and has Australian Watermark Approval AS1357.2 Lic. 02596.
